SVS ONLINE: Call for pandemic-focused late-breaking abstracts

2231

Over the course of the summer, SVS ONLINE will provide attendees with an innovative program featuring both live webinars and on-demand sessions. The event will deliver scientific abstracts and an educational component focused on timely and relevant content.

To address the current pandemic on the scientific program, SVS is soliciting late-breaking abstracts focused on scientific research into the COVID-19 pandemic. Preference will be given to abstracts that disseminate very recent COVID-19 data to the SVS membership.

The intent is to provide attendees with true “late-breaking” data that provide insights into the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on vascular patients and vascular surgery. Preference will be given to scientific reports over case reports.

Due to publication deadlines, late-breaking abstracts will not be included in the Journal of Vascular Surgery VAM supplement. Abstracts must be submitted by 3 p.m. Central Daylight Time, Friday, June 5, here.
