The Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) is kicking off its first-ever Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM) Social Media Challenge for both in-person and virtual attendees. The San Diego challenge will let participants showcase their individual meeting experience.
From Wednesday through Friday, SVS will send out seven challenges over SVS’ Twitter and Instagram pages. The first person to complete all seven will win complimentary VAM 2022 registration. The second-place finisher will win a $100 Visa gift card and the third-place winner will receive a $50 Visa gift card.
Those attending virtually will participate in the “At-Home Social Media Challenge” with a drawing for SVS swag. Three challenges will be posted throughout the meeting; when a participant engages with the challenge, he or she gets one entry for the drawing. The winner will be announced the week after VAM ends. Anyone attending VAM in person is not eligible for the at-home challenge.
To participate in the respective challenges, follow SVS on Twitter and Instagram; respond to the tweet on Twitter, or post a photo and tag @societyforvascularsurgery on Instagram, all while using #VAM21. Be on the lookout for these images to know when each challenge is posted.
