The Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) is developing Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) for claudication using the RAND Appropriateness Method.
The AUC process consists of a writing panel that develops clinical scenarios and a rating panel that rates the appropriateness of the scenarios. “We are soliciting volunteers with experience and interest in treating intermittent claudication to serve on the rating panel,” according to the SVS.
The process will be performed in conjunction with the SVS Appropriateness Committee. Previous experience developing appropriateness criteria is not necessary. Responses are due by Feb. 12, 2021.
To be considered for the rating panel, volunteers are required to complete an online application.
