Planning continues unabated for the highly anticipated SVS ONLINE, set to kick off June 20 and run through July 2 in lieu of the Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM), with registration opening June 1. Attendees can look forward to two Annual Business Meeting sessions—one in the run-up to the virtual conference June 15, and the other taking place on opening day—in addition to the slew of scientific and education sessions at SVS ONLINE: “New Advances and Discoveries in Vascular Surgery.”

At the beginning of June, there will be programming specifically tailored to general surgery residents and medical students. The SVS Pathways to Vascular Surgery Practice 2020: “Planning Your Career in Vascular Surgery” is a web-based version of the Resident and Student Outreach breakfast sessions typically held during VAM.

This programming will be held June 2, 3, 9 and 10. Residents and students can expect numerous webinars presented by leaders in the field. These presentations will focus on several topics, including careers in vascular surgery, how vascular surgery differs from other specialties, tips for vascular surgery residency, leadership development and much more.
