Those interested in serving on an SVS committee should complete a short application by Friday, April 1. Appointments will be announced in late May.
New this year: only applicants completing the separate conflict of interest disclosure will be considered for appointment to a committee. Relationships with industry do not disqualify one from committee service, but relationships must be disclosed.
The Appointments Committee, comprised of the president, president-elect and vice president, strives for well-balanced committees with representatives from all practice types, regions and ages. Regrettably, not all applicants are appointed to committees as there are always many more applicants than open positions.
