Branding: Next SVS Town Hall to be held Sept. 17

The next in the succession of Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) Town Halls is coming up next week, focusing in on the branding of the field of vascular surgery—an area highlighted in this year’s E. Stanley Crawford Critical Issues Forum during SVS ONLINE.

Called “Putting the new SVS branding toolkit to use,” the digital event will be held Sept. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Attendees will hear about how the SVS is working to help its members tell their comprehensive story.

Branding resources have been developed that enable members to have more effective conversations with referral sources and hospital leadership.

These tools will be discussed and demonstrated for optimization with co-moderators immediate past president Kim Hodgson, MD, and Joseph L. Mills, MD, professor and chief in the division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

The previous event, held last month, took a close look at initiatives from the SVS Health Information Technology Task Force.
