67th Vascular Annual Meeting Breaks West Coast Attendance Records

The very successful 2013 Vascular Annual Meeting® was the fourth highest attended annual meeting in SVS history and the highest attended West Coast meeting. Attendance reached 2,715 that included 1,504 professionals. Among the highlights, a new lecture series was introduced, the Roy Greenberg Distinguished Lecture. This year’s speaker was Stephan Haulon, MD, PhD, who’s topic was: New Frontiers, New Solutions? Lessons Learned from Training with a Pioneer. A John Homans, MD, lecture was presented for the first time since 1995. Larry H. Hollier, MD, FACS, FACC, FRCS, presented: Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome: Clinical Implications in Vascular Surgery (see related story).

The meeting was held in San Francisco at the Moscone Center West May 30 through June 1, 2013. The July issue of Vascular Specialist reports meeting highlights.
