The Southern Association for Vascular Surgery (SAVS) has announced the election of Margaret (Megan) Tracci, MD, as its next recorder.
Tracci is currently associate professor of vascular and endovascular surgery at UVA Health in Charlottesville, Virginia, and a past president of the Virginia Vascular Society.
The current SAVS president is William A. Marston, MD, who recently took over the chair from the outgoing Gilbert R. Upchurch Jr., MD. Marston is currently chief of the division of vascular surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
